Figured I’d do something I haven’t in quite some time, feature an artist. So this week I wanted to feature an artist I’ve been following for a very long time originally as a fan of their Sonic artwork but now just their overall style. Let’s take a look at a few select pieces from Chibi-jen-hen.
First up is a piece that fits right into a t-shit that I own, but rather then a sword in the dress it’s the wand. I love the idea of this and it’s a great callback to Wonder Woman.
Now, while I’m not a fan of the show myself, I do enjoy the art style. My wife is really into the show though so I’ve seen quite a bit of it. I do like the action displayed in this piece.
While I’m not a fan of the Sally redesign from the comics I gotta say that this piece is a really good representation of the modern look. I hear that this artist was one of the artists that worked on the comic during it’s ending years so it makes sense. Either way, it’s a nice hopeful piece.
I couldn’t not feature more Sailor Moon art. So here’s a cool piece of her using the grail.
This next piece brings us back to around the time I started following this artist and the piece that got me to do so. It’s original design sally and I just love how it flows and the traditional coloring style.
Finally I’ll leave you with this fun piece that draws a callback to this week’s Tuesday gallery. It’s now lewd, she’s wearing shoes!
