In honor of Waveshaper releasing 4 of his previous albums on Vinyl I figured it was high time again that we feature a track from this Synthwave artist. Velocity, Retro Future, Exploration 84, and Solar Drifter were just released on 12″ Vinyl in a first pressing!
Legacy is a track from the new Album, Artifact, released on May 5th this year. It’s got that dark synthy vibe I’ve come to love while also feeling new and hopeful. Give it a listen and see what you think.
But why stop with just one track when you can listen to the whole album? Overall Artifact has a more upbeat feeling to it then some of the past works by Waveshaper. As a fan of the more Top Gun esque style of Synthwave I can easily say this is becoming one of my favorite albums by the artist to date. It still has that hard hitting base and fast paced beat that I’ve come to enjoy as his style. Track 3, Departure, is quickly becoming my favorite track on the album.
